Facing the beachfront, Tinidee Hideaway Tonsai Beach Krabi - SHA Extra Plus offers 3-star accommodation in Tonsai Beach and features a garden, shared lounge and restaurant. The treehouse accommodation was fantastic. We loved the location and the wildlife was a real bonus especially the spectacled langurs (approx. 7 with 2 small babies) who hung out in a tree right outside our treehouse for several hours one afternoon. Beach good for swimming and the pool while small was a nice option especially at low tide. Property and the staff were amazing. One of the friendliest welcomes we received in Thailand. A 6 minute walk to Railay going through the bush right by the beach which you can do most times of the day, apart from either side of high tide when I think the exit/entry point at Railay would likely be waist deep, but then could take a long tail boat if needed for approx. THB300 for the entire boat.

The location by the beach created such a serene atmosphere for me that cannot be matched. The hotel is really a masterpiece of luxury and elegance. I loved most of all the stunning views from my private balcony. I also loved the diverse range of restaurants. The Japanese live cooking show is one I will always remember. This island has a very special place in my heart, so this was my second visit. Yes, from the U.S. all the way to this tiny island twice! I travel alone, and the property manager was clearly looking out for me the first time. So I went back a second time! On my first visit, they were working hard to recover from the Covid era, and I truly felt their plight. They had finished some projects and made some improvements the second visit and I hope they succeed. Feel wild and safe at the same time here! The private beach is rocky, but just put on some water shoes and swim anyway. The water is calm and pleasant. You can also walk to the end of the dirt road for a public beach that’s still tranquil with very few (if any) people for less rocks.

They took us to the hotel from the pier by private longtail boat. On our way back, we returned to the pier in the same way and I thank them for providing us with this service at a cheaper price than usual. The island is like paradise, it has its own private beach and no one uses it except the hotel guests. It has very clear water. The meals are prepared by professional chefs. This holiday was the most interesting and beautiful holiday I have ever had. We had arranged it for only two nights, we will make a longer arrangement next year. The only bad thing about the stay is that there are a lot of mosquitoes. That's why you need to bring your sprays when you come. Hotel staff also spray insecticide for mosquitoes every day and come to your room and take special care of it.
